The Onkyo TX-8255 is exactly what I had hoped for. Easy to use, clear well-designed controls (including prominent volume knob) and plenty of power. The sound is crystal clear through A and B speaker channels. Has plenty of inputs for DVD, Turntable, Tape, CD, etc. Volume is huge. No breaking or hissing at hi levels.
