Bought this bare tool sawzall snce I conveniently already own a couple of Makita cordless hammerdrills which use the same batteries. Don't expect a cordless sawzall to take the place of a corded saw. Choosing whether or not to use a cordless saw depends on a few things: type of material being cut, amount of material being cut and the cutting location and last but not least whether you want to run an extension cord or not. If you spend good money on a quality saw,don't be cheap on blades.
