Good saw and simple to use. It does not possess a laser guide however it does include an attachable fence which could advice the saw straight provided you're cutting one foot or less in the edge. The edge it arrives with is a little rough if you do not want splinters purchase a finner edge or as my dad in law does, put hiding tape where you will cut.
