My boy loves the bike, I love the bike too. I heard a great deal bad reasons for mongoose brakes, However I haven't had any issues with them once i fixed them. the leading brakes were just come up with wrong.. But apart from that the bike runs great. Awesome.Bought Mongoose Spin Freestyle for my boy on X'mas. He absolutely loves it. I'm very happy with his feedback.
