I was looking for a small tiller/cultivator for my backyard garden and puchased this one. It needed only a little assembly of the wheels and the controls. It took just a few minutes. It was easy to use and powered through some very compacted grass and ground in the backyard. I recommend this great tool.

This tiller is great. The cord can sometimes get in the way, but overall it does a fantastic job. I used it in a very rocky area to flatten out a play area for the kids (see the picture in the product image gallery). I used it to create walking trails on my property. I would say that what is most valuable with this product is that the when the internal wiring came loose causing the power to act erratically (probably due to the harsh use I gave it), they sent us a new one without any issues. We'd been contemplating getting a tiller for a long time. Not only is this thing quiet, but it is powerful too. It chewed through the ground, and other than being a little too light, did wonderful work. This is a pretty good tiller given the price and weight of it. I used it in my existing beds and also on the bare clay soil. Place where I live (cary, NC) its very clay soil. Key to tilling the clay soil is to wait for a little rain or perhaps wet the soil overnight and then do it. It does the clay soil perfectly. I purchased this product less than a month ago and I really like it. For the money, you can't go wrong at all. I have an electric mower, so I don't keep tanks of gas around. I wanted to find a decent electric tiller that could handle my garden. I've tilled twice now and I'm glad I purchased this tiller. It's quite powerful for the size and really mixes up the soil.
