I was a little skeptical about this purchase after reading all these reviews but it was the perfect size for an undermount in my corner kitchen cabinet. I am amazed at the picture quality after hooking up to an HD cable box via HDMI cable. The sound, which I expected to be of low quality, is more than adequate for a kitchen. Total out of pocket was about $275 (bracket and HDMI cable). Best money I ever spent!

I fear others are comparing this TV to their $2,000 set, so sure the audio is not as good but I find it very good for such small speakers. The picture is also excellent for a set of this size and the set has many bells and whistles. One should go to the ViewSonic site and download their operating manual. In 1949 I was installing and repairing TVs, we sure have come a long way.

I had to order a second unit. The first didn't pick up channels 7 and 10. The new unit works perfectly. Someone complained about sound being tinny. The unit lets you have several sound enviroments. You can easily eliminate the tinny sound.

The Viewsonic Model N1630w, that I received quickly from Amazon, is very impressive. The picture is superb hooked up to regular cable and the sound is very impressive for a small tv. I appreciate the quality appearance and engineering. The size of this tv makes it very versatile. I am very happy with my purchase.

Great picture, clear and sharp. Great TV for kitchen, bedroom, wherever. Very light, has hookups for anything you might want to add on. Very happy with this purchase.
