The IronMan ATIS 3500 is a solid and smoothly operating inversion table. The weight of this unit gives you confidence as you are exercising that it will not wobble or tip. On the other hand, the weight is a bit of a challenge as you need to move the package when it arrives. However, that can be addressed by unpacking in the garage and moving the unit piece by piece. Assembly was fairly easy, but the instructions could have been a bit clearer (such as adding to-scale drawings of each of the bolts to match with the assembly).

Once assembled, the unit is very quick to adjust for different users heights. The rotation pivots run very smoothly and the position locking mechanism contributes to a solid framework for exercising. While engaging the position lock, you will need to make small adjustments to your position to help the lock find a lock point. Great for abdominal exercises.

I did a lot of research on inversion tables before purchasing this one. I wanted to make sure I could use it to work my abs. I am so very happy with choosing this one.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband. I reseached many tables. This model seemed to be the most study compared to the ones I viewed in stores. I was right! My husband loves it. He experiences back pain on a regular basis due to his line of work. Just five minutes a day has changed that! He does not need to take pain killers or soak in the tub for long periods of time anymore. He also is able to use it as a workout device.

I am a Nurse and I constantly am weight training and playing basketball. I played ball collegiately for 4 years as well.
I've tried three inversion tables, and none of them compare to the ironman. It's got multiple settings that allow for a custom degree range of inversion unlike the others. Also, it's really, really comfortable. The padding is thick on the back support, and your ankles feel no pain or annoying rubbing with the ankle supports. It's a really sweet product. Anyone who has to work on their feet for hours at a time, or even athletes who get tight backs, just come home, spend two to five minutes on this joker, and you will honestly be refreshed and feeling like you are ready for another shift at work or another practice. I'm not just B.Sing you. Pay a little extra money for this, it's very very very worth it.

This product arrived way ahead of the scheduled delivery date, which was nice. It came in a huge box, and the table was about 50% assembled. The parts that I had to assemble were labled fairly well, and everything went together without a hitch. A few crude assembly tools come in the box, but your own socket set and allen wrenches will make assembly easier. I'm a big guy, 6-1 275. This is a very sturdy table that has already paid for itself in lower back relief. Great product.

I have been wanting an inversion system for many years but they were either too expensive, too cheaply made or, both! I admit to having spent quite some time looking here, on line and, at local retailers before making my decision to buy this table.
The deciding factor? That's was easy, it was all the great reviews at this site that convinced me which table to buy. The comments were both pro, (well thought out, quality parts, safe, well built, memory foam), and the very few con such as, it takes about an hour to set up or doesn't fold up (which means very sturdy). It works great!
Yes, you need to understand the foot locking mechanism but that's not too hard to learn if you read the reviews, that is, when you want out, pull the lever towards your shins and push down on the top button 'thingie' and then push the lever forward, easy.
How did it work on me? The first time I locked myself in and let myself back, my lumbar released in three places. I also had a vertebrae realign in the middle of my spine. The lumbar adjusts gently each time I use it.
I use it twice a day (A.M-P.M) and it is definitely making a difference. (I actually feel taller)! I didn't mention that I have a herniated disc and other degenerated vertebrae problems that while not cured, are definitely not such a constant irritant.

I had researched the ATIS 3500 and 4000 on the Web and, after reading comments from a couple of users about the ankle holds of the 4000 causing them some discomfort, and noticing that the ankle locking lever on the 4000 was considerably shorter than the 3500's necessitating the user to have to bend over farther to engage and disengage it, I decided to purchase the 3500 from Amazon. The unit arrived on schedule by UPS and was easy to assemble with the exception of the two plastic floor pads on the front bottom of the unit. I needed to elongate the hole in the center of each pad and trim the washers with tin snips to get the holes in the pads and washers to line up with the holes in the bottom of the unit. A minor matter and one that anyone with a minimum of tools could have adjusted. The table is solidly built, attractively and intelligently designed and funtions smoothly. At 6'4" and 210 lbs. I feel safe using it and find it well-balanced and the ankle holds comfortable and easy to engage and disengage. I have begun doing inverted crunches and found that at first I needed to assist my weak abs by pulling myself up slightly by those long, padded hand-grips in a kind of "cheating" style. I can now manage several in strict style. Not only have the stretching sessions (I've become "addicted" to using it at least twice daily) kept my sciatica and chronic back problems quiet, but I'm strengthening my core muscles as well. By the way, this unit is now called the ATIS 5000 according to the manual and carton and is sold as the 5000 on a few other websites (for a considerably higher price). Ironman + Amazon = a terrific table at an unbeatable price.

My wife wanted an inversion table for Christmas and with so many different tables out there it can be a little nerve racking! After days of (inversion table homework) we decided on this model. We were looking for something sturdy and for one that could be locked into different positions for ab workouts. This table is solid and is already 75% assembled. All we needed to do was bolt the stand and backrest together and attach the inverting hand grips. Took about 35 min to complete. First time trying it was a little awkward, and with all the blood rushing to your head made it uncomfortable at first, but after releasing myself from it I could tell that it made a difference. I've had back problems for the past 21 years, and I must say after using this for just two months I don't have the back stiffness I was accustomed to. This table isn't something you can fold up, so make sure it's in the room you want it before you put it together. If your looking into a solid, durable inversion table that won't break the bank, look no farther!
