Excellent camera. I purchased VIXIA HV40 HD HDV last year to create my student films and weren't disappointed yet. It shoots superbly in 24fs in HD and it is very simple to use & also provides extensive features. Great camera, you will never fail with that one.

I just read all of the reviews about this VIXIA HV40 HDV before purchasing it. I love the MiniDV format. I've got a large amount of tapes and want to read these phones disk soon. I love recording stuff using their company analog sources. I'm not likely to write everything everybody else already authored. I Really Like THIS Video camera! The standard from the video is excellent and also the video camera is simple to use. If you're anything apart from an expert video grapher this is actually the video camera for you personally.
